Klancy Miller is a writer and gourmand who has an enduring fascination with all things French. A graduate of Columbia University, she decided to attend Le Cordon Bleu to combine all of her passions (living in Paris, cooking, writing and speaking French) and won a James Beard scholarship to do so. After Le Cordon Bleu, Klancy stayed in the City of Light to apprentice at the legendary Michelin three star Taillevent restaurant. She later joined the recipe development team at Le Cordon Bleu where she wrote, tested and translated recipes and contributed writing to Le Cordon Bleu’s publications. Post-Paris: She honed her food writing skills at the French Culinary Institute’s Craft of Food Writing course which inspired her to start a blog about her obsessions: food, wine and travel ( She has written for various magazines and has worked as a ghost writer for people in the food world. Klancy has also appeared on the Food Network’s Recipe for Success in an episode that focused on women culinary professionals in Paris – the show was called Food Fantasies.

While this blog is mainly about food, wine and travel, topics tend to cover anything that Klancy fancies.
